Adventures of a Wonderkid Mom

I'm a professional counselor and a mom who has a passion for advocacy and equipping others.  My personal experience as a special needs mom has been a trial by fire.  My life and my plans were overturned by a series of diagnosis and complexities, beginning when my son turned 3 months old.  I am choosing to share our adventure, and hope along the way to cultivate conversation along the common struggles of special needs families, and to encourage others by making available support, resources, information, and education on special needs.  I invite you to celebrate with us the journey, uplift others, develop our Christian faith, encourage, and create space for grief that comes with a diagnosis.  This is for everyone, especially for the families and communities of children and adults with special needs.
